A house of design where every print tells a journey
Every print is hand-drawn by Inga Lichtenfeld herself — poetic motifs that carry the soul toward worlds yet unknown. It is from this longing to give shape to Sehnsucht — that untranslatable German yearning for a dreamed-of elsewhere — that the house was born: from a devotion to the beauty of nature and art, and the desire to wear it.
A native of Hamburg, trained in fashion design, pattern-making and couture in Paris, the designer now welcomes guests into her atelier-boutique in the heart of Saint-Géry, Brussels.
The house first came to life under the name aesthete, with a first love for childrenswear — garments designed for freedom of movement, dressing each child's inner, imaginary world through hand-drawn prints. That same spirit lives on today as Inga Lichtenfeld, now focused on womenswear.
Made here, made to last
Each piece is hand-crafted on site, by the creator herself, allowing for true, individual customization to each client's wishes. Every garment is produced ethically and sustainably, through the shortest possible supply chain — from sketch to wardrobe, without detour.

Today, that focus takes the form of a full womenswear line. The same poetry dresses children too, in a collection that completes the world — the cherry on top. And for him, a selection of pieces is also available.

Taking a circular approach, we take back outgrown Inga Lichtenfeld garments, wash them and offer them as second hand items. Bringing back an outgrown garment makes you benefit of a twenty percent discount on your next order.
